Veterans Day is approaching. I'm supposed to speak for three minutes. What do I say? I've asked a couple of Thomas's Army friends (one has answered already, the other I wrote to just a few minutes ago) what they think needs to be said. I've been missing Thomas a lot and I've been talking about him more. I worked today and found myself telling a new employee about what happened. She took it well. I don't do this often any more, I think, telling people everything, but talking has been important lately. And, after all, most of my friends have already heard this story so it's pretty much only strangers and new acquaintances who are left to hear it.
